We were delighted to host our autumn open day at our Coventry headquarters, welcoming owners and enthusiasts behind the scenes of a classic car restoration specialist and to learn all about our heating and air conditioning upgrades as we prepare our classics for winter.

Our team of engineering and restoration experts explained the options for owners to get the maximum enjoyment from their classic. There was also the opportunity for guests, including members of the Porsche Club Great Britain, to see first-hand the incredible work our team undertakes with a selection of current vehicle projects being worked on.

AIR CONDITIONING UPGRADES – AN ESSENTIAL FOR UK WEATHER?

Those attending our coffee morning were surrounded by classics and it proved very useful to discover the extent of our expertise in servicing, repairs, upgrades and full restorations. The timing was also very appropriate as the UK heads towards wetter and colder weather.

Persistent rain can lead to a build-up of condensation and mist the windows in a classic, which can damage the car’s condition and decrease visibility.

Such considerations don’t need to dampen owning a classic car – our team showed drivers how to tackle condensation, which can be overcome with our bespoke air conditioning kits, no matter the changeable British weather.

ARE AIR CONDITIONING UPGRADES AN OPTION FOR ALL CLASSICS?

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in older cars can be obsolete, faulty or even non-existent, making it a particular worry for owners of classics. But deciding what is right for you and your car can be a daunting task – that’s why we love hosting these open days, so owners can see for themselves the options, and results, of working with us on a restoration or upgrade

The kits can be installed by our highly skilled team, while those wishing to self-install at home can do so, receiving expert and close support along the way.
